Scholarships

Help Support a Student and their Family

Scholarships have now become an urgent necessity for the Hall. Recent legislation from the British government means that, from September 2012, the course fees for all our students has increased dramatically. Because many of our students decide to pursue ministerial studies mid-life, they often have families to support and, given the recent increase in tuition fees, their savings are often quickly depleted.

Others need assistance because they come from communities with very limited resources. We want to be able to offer students a place at Wycliffe based on their calling and willingness to serve God - not their bank balance. Would you consider making a donation which could help sponsor a student? Or would your local church be able to offer a scholarship from within its annual mission budget?

How to Give

Thank you for considering giving to Wycliffe. If you are making a scholarship donation, please include a note with cheques, or an email with online donations, so that we can make sure your gift is properly allocated. Gift Aid It!

If you are a UK Taxpayer use Gift Aid and make your donation worth more. Please select 'yes' and for every £1 you have given us in the last four years, and all future donations, we get an extra 25p from the Inland Revenue.

To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in income tax or capital gains tax must at least equal the amount that will be claimed by all of the charities that you donate to in the tax year (at least 25p for each £1 donated). Please notify us if your details or circumstances change.
