Claire Page

Associate Tutor

BA (English/Drama), PGCE (Secondary teaching)

Claire Page meets with students, individually, to make the most of their voice and communication skills. She has been working at Wycliffe Hall since September 2004 and says, "I want men and women everywhere to lift up their voices without notes or nervousness, and to understand their listeners as well as their Bibles!"

She also writes children's books for Make Believe Ideas, resources for churches, published by Authentic Media, and Bible notes for Scripture Union. In addition she runs Performing Wonders Drama classes for children aged 5-11, having previously worked for Henry Box School, Witney, as Head of Drama for several years.

Over the years she has taught music to adults with learning difficulties, and directed many productions, including medieval mysteries, musicals and opera. In another life she acted and sang her way round Britain’s schools and youth events as part of Ambush Theatre Company.

Claire and her husband, writer Nick Page, live in Eynsham, Oxfordshire, with their three daughters, Lily, Madeleine and Martha.
