Heroes of Oxford
City of Saints and Scholars
8 - 13 July 2012
Our next annual conference will focus on Christians in Oxford over the last 1,000 years, from the young girl Frideswide through to the present day.
Join us for a week studying and relaxing in the beautiful city of Oxford. Learn from these ‘heroes’ in the faith - from what they did and how they prayed - to discover afresh what it means to be followers of Jesus today and to be his faithful witnesses in his world.
Highlights of the week include:
-
Four mornings of teaching and a full-day excursion on the fifth day
-
Daily worship and exposition from the Scriptures
-
An afternoon outing to Waddesdon Manor (country home of the Rothschilds)
-
Exploring Oxford’s museums and shops, and enjoying its restaurants each evening
-
A formal banquet in a historic college dining hall
