James Robson trained at Wycliffe Hall and previously taught at Oak Hill Theological College for nine years.  Here he will be teaching  Old Testament, Hebrew and preparing candidates for ordination. At Wycliffe Hall James is a part of a dynamic team of scholars committed to both academic excellence and equipping tomorrow’s ministers for their mission. James, alongside Jenni Williams, will be responsible for teaching across the range of courses at Wycliffe and will lead the tutorial teaching for the Oxford BA in Theology.

James is passionate about teaching the Bible as the living Word of God, scholarly excellence in teaching and research, evangelism and the spiritual mentoring of future ministers.

James is married to Bridget and has two daughters and 3 guinea pigs.
