We invite all prospective students to complete our online application form. Applicants are advised to read the accompanying Application Form Notes before completing the form. A hard copy of the application form is available from the Admissions Office. Depending on your course, you may need to complete an additional University of Oxford application form. When we have received your application form we will contact you if we would like to arrange an interview with you. We may also ask for further supporting material such as written work, transcripts or evidence of English Language proficiency.
Applying for Ministerial Courses
Applications for ministerial courses are considered all year round, but a Church of England Ministry Division quota of ordinands for Wycliffe Hall limits places for Church of England ordinands for each year, so places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
To train for ministry at Wycliffe Hall, you will need to choose a particular course on which to study. If you have questions about which course you should choose, you can still submit an application form and discuss the course options at interview stage. If you are applying as an ordinand to do a postgraduate course through Oxford University (e.g. for the MTh in Applied Theology), we can advise you on the University application process when you visit for interview.
All ministerial candidates are invited to one of our interview days. Details of these can be seen below. You can book a place at an interview day these using our online form at the same time as submitting your application form. Alternatively, you can book your interview day first and then submit an application form at least one week before visiting.
