Disabled Students

Wycliffe Hall welcomes applications from disabled students and makes reasonable adjustments to facilitate their access to its courses. We view applications from students with disabilities on exactly the same academic grounds as those from other candidates.

Please contact the Wycliffe Hall Admissions Office if you require course application material in an alternative format and we will endeavour to fulfil your request.

It is recommended that candidates arrange to visit Wycliffe Hall and any other parts of the University (e.g. Faculty, Libraries) to explore facilities and discuss specific needs. It takes time to arrange adjustments and to organise appropriate support so it is essential to make contact with the college and, if appropriate,  Faculty and University Disability Office as early as possible in the application process.

Applicants may disclose a disability on their Wycliffe Hall or University application form. Alternatively, they may complete a Disability Disclosure Form which will be sent to them in the summer before their course commences. Students are under no obligation to disclose a disability, but disclosure ensures that all appropriate steps can be taken to facilitate a student’s access to teaching and other facilities.

The University of Oxford Disability Office provides a range of support services for students with disabilities and any candidate applying for a University course at Wycliffe Hall should contact this office to discuss their arrangements. A link to their website is provided below.
