We are very grateful to all our partner parishes for sending students to study at Wycliffe Hall. Throughout our history our main purpose has been to train Anglican ordinands to the highest possible standards in preparation for their future ministry as leaders of the Church.

Anglican ordinands are supported financially by central funds from the Church of England’s Ministry Division.  However, financial pressures on the Church of England have meant that the cost of training an ordinand is no longer fully met:  it currently costs £2,000 per year more to train an ordinand than the funding we receive from the Ministry Division.

We would therefore be most grateful if sending parishes could consider helping us to bridge this financial gap by contributing to the financial support of the students they send to Wycliffe Hall.

We are also keen to build relationships with parishes in other areas. Should there be ways we can support you in your ministry, for example, by providing a preacher (staff or student) for a special occasion, do let us know.
